I had a specific project in mind when I set out shooting this afternoon, and got totally sidetracked by a building I have driven by hundreds of times but never really *saw* until today. I've learned by now to act on my creative inspirations, so I pulled a U-turn, parked the car and spent an hour wandering around with my camera and my new eyes.I often drive around looking for places to shoot and find myself uninspired by what I can see from the car. In the future I'll be reminding myself that 90% of the good stuff is not visible from the driver's seat! We spend so much time in our cars with our eyes on the road that we are missing a whole world of interesting things all around us. It's important to remember to park the car and take some time just walking around now & then : )
